Immigrants Support Centre (Centrum Wsparcia Imigrantów i Imigrantek; CWII Trójmiasto is an initiative aimed at local immigrants. The centre focuses on activities for integration and antidiscrimination, e.g. legal information, support in dealings with the offices and town institutions, Polish language courses, career guidance etc.According to the policy of the organisation, the CWII is created in a participatory way together with its clients. The support is offered in Polish, English and Russian. The organisation is a member of the EU Civil Society Platform against trafficking in human beings, set up by the European Commission. Its aim is to engage the non-governmental organisations in different aspects of preventing human trafficking and to react to its signs. The assistance of the Centre is free of charge.
The main assumptions of the Centre include:
– various ways of supporting immigrants,
– building receiving-migrant community, the platform for meetings, integration and cooperation,
– launching cooperation with local authorities for integration, and building policy on migration.
